About Me

Hi, my name is Rachael Krajna, and I’m a content writer, editor, and copywriter with over ten years of experience. I have professional experience in education as an English professor, researcher, and writer. I live in New York. I enjoy hiking, video games, anime, writing, reading, and more. Welcome to my serene sanctuary.

I’ve written articles in multiple fields and genres. I have experience writing about technology, education, retail, fashion, mental health, and wellness.

My Story

Dear Reader,

From the time I was very young, I adored books, literature, writing, and language. Some of my favorite authors are Mary Shelley, the Brontë sisters, Mercedes Lackey, Melissa Marr, Alice Hoffman, and so many more. I began writing poetry in college, and my love of writing flourished in adulthood.

I graduated from St. Bonaventure University in 2017 with my Master of Arts in English and from Hilbert College in 2015 with my Bachelor of Arts degree in English. In graduate school, I joined multiple campus publications, received a teaching scholarship, and taught English composition. I also taught my courses and tutored in the University Writing Center for over two years. I coordinated efforts for the Concrete Poetry Conference at St. Bonaventure in 2017, aiding with exhibition tours, creating literary activities for visitors, and helping with the live visits of multiple poets.

I’ve taught English composition for over eight years and have been a freelance copywriter for over five years. My favorite genres to read are fantasy, science fiction, horror, and the classics.

My graduate project centered on Frankenstein and literacy in education. I have been fortunate to share my love of the written word with fellow writers, students, and professionals.

As a writer, I shine in the skills of copywriting, content writing and SEO long-form articles. I have also written web copy, articles, blogs, and white pages. I have expansive experience in creative writing with published poetry and short stories over the years.

May the love of the written word flourish.

Rachael Krajna
